Wake the Woman Enneagram Series, Session 1: “3 Brained Beings”

The Enneagram, a beautiful and complex study in human behavior, is currently at the forefront of discussion in both realms of spirituality and mental health. Join us for this information-dense introduction to the basic structures of the Enneagram work tailored specifically to women of all ages and walks of life. Combining experiential exercises, physical practices and meditation, “3 Brained Beings” is the foundational first offering in the “Wake the Woman” series. In this workshop we will explore the three intelligence centers of the body, mind and heart and the specific gifts available to us when we fully inhabit these aspects of our humanity. This work draws us to mindfulness, to self-awareness and toward an opportunity to participate in our lives and in the world as whole, powerful and peaceful human beings.

“What can we gain by sailing to the moon if we are not able to cross the abyss that separates us from ourselves?” -Thomas Merton

This workshop is designed for women only. For groups of 4 or more, tickets are available for $45 each.

The Embodied Season: Fall Workshop feat. Ashley Addair, Amelia Peterson, & Kellye Coleman

Syncing cultural conversations with the natural seasons, the Embodied Season Workshop Series seeks to give participants opportunity to think about their ways of being as they intersect with seasonal rhythms and innovative ideas through the process of making. Each workshop session will be a collaborative pairing of a creative mode of expression and a person doing good work in our community (with interests ranging from theater and social policy to photography and education) to prompt participants to live into the rhythms of nature through art making. Each class will be led and facilitated by renowned Knoxville artist Ashley Addair and previous collaborator Amelia Peterson and is open to women and men of all ages.

We will be exploring the Fall as a season of togetherness through a workshop focusing on the cultivation of empathy. Participants will be lead through reflective prompts to craft a watercolor/collage playing with the aesthetics of pattern clash.
